Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Daisy Jones & the Six is a fiction novel that follows a 1970’s rock group trying to make their way to fame.

Loosely Based on Stevie Nicks, Daisy is a woman who loved Rock n Roll and wanted nothing more than to be  a singer. She collides with The Six and together they form  a rock band. Billy, the lead singer of the six, has a  pregnant girlfriend and goes a little wild out on the road. Billy meeting Daisy changed their lives for good.

One special aspect of the book is it’s written in interview style where everyone in the book is responding to questions and telling their side of the story. I felt it made the book a unique read and it kept things interesting.

This book is so dreamy and it makes you want to live in the 70’s with the great music, love, and interesting characters. Taylor Jenkins Reid makes you feel like you just discovered your new favorite band.
